1. Who we are

Kadima Technology (“we”, “our”, “us”) is the operator of the Ottr mobile application and website at ottr.app, and is the data controller for personal data processed under this policy. Questions about this policy can be directed to support@kadima-tech.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the service:

• Waitlist email address — provided voluntarily when you join our pre-launch waitlist.
• Account information — email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Household & chore data — chore logs, points, leaderboard entries, and rewards you create inside the app.
• Usage analytics — pages visited, features used, and interaction events to help us improve the product. This data is pseudonymous.
• Device & technical data — IP address, browser or app version, operating system, and crash reports.

We do not collect payment card details directly; payments are handled by our payment processor.

• Providing, operating, and improving the Ottr service.
• Sending you product updates and launch notifications (waitlist emails).
• Responding to support requests.
• Detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.
• Complying with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

We retain your account and household data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or we launch. Analytics events are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see section 6).

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification of inaccurate data.
• Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) of your data.
• Portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Restriction or objection to certain processing.
• Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any right, email support@kadima-tech.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies for session management and security. We use PostHog analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser, which our analytics respects.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and access controls. Ottr Plus subscribers benefit from managed encrypted cloud storage for their household data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Ottr is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete that data promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
